Who Are Beavers:
Beavers are young people aged 6 to 8, but they can join Beaver Scouts up to three months prior to their 6th Birthday. We meet on Monday's from 6.15pm till 7.30pm at the village hall
All Sections in Scouting work towards earning their Chief Scout Award. Beavers is their Bronze Award, They earn this by first gaining 4 Badges from either the Activity Badges or Staged Activity Badges. They also need to complete their Challenge Badges.
What do Beavers do?
- Master new skills and try new things
- Have fun and go on adventures
- Make friends
- Are curious about the world around them
- Help others and make a difference, on their own doorstops and beyond
Every week, they gather in groups called Beaver Colonies to hop, skip and jump their way through lots of different games and activities – achieving anything they set their minds to, and having lots of fun along the way.
